Helmholtz AI kick-off meeting
5 March 2020 - Lenbach Palais, Munich
Helmholtz AI aims to enable the efficient and agile development and implementation of applied artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) assets across the whole Helmholtz Association, strongly encouraging networking between all Helmholtz centres.
The official Helmholtz AI kick-off meeting was the perfect opportunity to meet method and domain specialists with a shared interest in AI. Representatives of all Helmholtz centres learnt more about Helmholtz AI initiatives, discussed use cases in applied AI/ML and expanded their network.
Thank you for joining us!
#helloHelmholtzAI
With more than 200 people onsite and 1700 livestream views, the official Helmholtz AI kick-off meeting became the perfect opportunity for the Helmholtz AI community to get together and discuss current and future projects in applied AI/ML. Thank you for making it possible!

Palais Lenbach
The Helmholtz AI kick-off conference will take place in the historical Palais Lenbach. Built in 1887, it is one of the few buildings in central Munich that was not destroyed during the Second World War. Its original architecture, including elegant marble floors and stucco ceilings, is still intact.
